Top 5 things to do in Rottnest Island

Rottnest Island is a tiny heavenly gem located only 20 km offshore from Fremantle – the famous hipster town where music, art and life melt together creating a perfect cultural melting pot.

In this post I’ll tell you the top 5 things to do on the island to experience the best of it and make your week end memorable.

Can you imagine something more exciting than jumping from a plane flying 10.000 ft above Rotto?!

I actually can’t!

You can enjoy a terrific and unique view of the island and land on one of its amazing white sand beaches.

You can’t miss it!

If you don’t fancy jumping off a plane you can still enjoy a wonderful view of the island thanks to Joy Flights: just think about the thousands shades of blue you could see from the top!

A little bit of comfort has never hurt anyone and that’s why you should treat yourself with a lobster lunch on a charter boat.

You will fish your own lunch while sipping beautiful Australian wine, what else?!

Swimming is nice and snorkelling is amazing but they can also be so exhausting. I have the perfect solution: rent a water scooter and turn yourself into a beautiful mermaid – or merman!
